We’re proud to be an accredited GERS (Glaucoma Enhanced Referral Scheme) provider, offering specialist checks for people who may be at risk of glaucoma.
Our optometrist, Paul, has additional training in the detection of glaucoma and works closely with your own optometrist to provide thorough assessments.
These assessments may include:
Eye pressure measurements
Visual field testing to check your peripheral vision
Optic nerve evaluation
The aim of the assessment is to identify whether there are signs that glaucoma might be present, ensure timely onward referral if needed, and support your ongoing eye health. Please note, while we can detect signs of glaucoma, we cannot make a definitive diagnosis — this will always be confirmed by a hospital specialist..
